Halle - 5 Months

Here are some not so new pictures of Halle. She was 5 months old on August 4th, so these are a few weeks old! When I took these, she was more interested in eating her clothes than posing for the camera. :)

Halle loves her exersaucer. This was one of her first times trying it out. And the next picture was after a long day! :)

"Miss Smiley" as I call her.

At 5 months, Halle weighed 15 1/2 pounds. Between 4 and 5 months Halle started waking
several times during the night. She apparently went through a growth spurt and was ready to get out of the pack and play. We moved her from our room into hers, and she is much happier in her crib. After a few weeks of waking during the night, she was back to her normal routine, usually sleeping 8-9 hours. I was surely thankful for that! In month 5, Halle also got good at grabbing toys and reaching for anything near her. She is such a happy baby and we are truly blessed to have her and Hayden!

WOW 2009

Hayden had a blast at WOW this year. He looked forward to going every night. Halle had her first WOW experience and stayed in the nursery every night since I was teaching and Michael was helping also. For her first time in the nursery, she did great. We all had a lot of fun, but we were exhausted by Wednesday night! :)
