Halle - Two Months Old

Halle turned two months old yesterday! She had her check-up (and shots) today. She now weighs 11 lbs. 5 oz. (75th percentile) and is 21 3/4 inches long (25th percentile). She rolled over (tummy to back) at 4 weeks and has done so a few times since. She has started cooing and smiling, which makes interacting lots of fun!

Hayden is 3!

Last Wednesday was Hayden's 3rd birthday. I think we celebrated all week! We decided to get a swingset for the backyard, so that was his big birthday present. My dad and Michael put it together the weekend before, and I hoped that we could surprise Hayden. But, he figured it out quickly, so he got to play on it a few days early.

Wednesday morning we met friends at the park to play and eat cake and ice cream. Luckily, the weather was nice and sunny in the midst of a rainy week, so it was nice to be outside.

Wednesday night, we let Hayden choose a restaurant for his birthday dinner. He chose El Acapulco, of course! They came and sang to him and tried to put a sombrero on his head, but he did not like that!

On Saturday night, we celebrated Hayden's birthday with our family. He enjoyed opening presents and eating cake!

Hayden got the Happy Birthday Thomas train and a few other trains for his train table.He also got a remote-control bubble jeep. It's been fun watching him figure out how to use the remote! :)He also got some rainboots so he can "clip clomp" as he says.
