We spent last week in Destin with my parents. We had a great time at the beach with fabulous weather, clear water, and lots of fun in the sun. Although Hayden didn't care for the sand, he enjoyed playing in the water, both in the ocean and in the pool. He did great traveling and being away from home. We had such a relaxing week, we weren't ready to come home! (I have to warn you, I took so many pictures and had a hard time deciding which to post, so I posted quite a few! There are also 2 additional posts below from our trip.)
Hayden's first reaction - We walked down to the beach just to look around once we got to our condo. He wasn't too sure about the sand or the water.
All ready to head down to the beach!
Daddy's goggles and a paci ... what a look!
Stylin' in the sunglasses
Lounging by the pool with his cute towel my friend Jamie made for him.

Keeping cool in the shade
Since Hayden wasn't a fan of the sand, we bought a tiny pool and set it up under the umbrella so he could use his sand toys in the water.
Watching the seagulls go after the bread. If you can't tell from his face, he was quite amazed!
Here's Hayden chilling in the boat, sitting back, relaxing. What a life!
Showing off his treasure (a little plastic flag) we found while walking on the beach
Hayden and Mommy in the beautiful, clear water
Family PicGramma and Grampa with Hayden on the balcony (Perfectly color-coordinated, I might add, which was not planned. They came out of their room with the exact blue and lime green Hayden was already wearing, so we had to snap some pictures.)
