Our Vacation

We spent last week in Destin with my parents. We had a great time at the beach with fabulous weather, clear water, and lots of fun in the sun. Although Hayden didn't care for the sand, he enjoyed playing in the water, both in the ocean and in the pool. He did great traveling and being away from home. We had such a relaxing week, we weren't ready to come home! (I have to warn you, I took so many pictures and had a hard time deciding which to post, so I posted quite a few! There are also 2 additional posts below from our trip.)

Hayden's first reaction - We walked down to the beach just to look around once we got to our condo. He wasn't too sure about the sand or the water.

Since Hayden wasn't a fan of the sand, we bought a tiny pool and set it up under the umbrella so he could use his sand toys in the water.

Hayden absolutely loved watching, chasing, and especially feeding the seagulls with Gramma and Grampa.

Out and About in Destin

Here are some pictures of Hayden enjoying some activities while we were in Destin. He got to play mini-golf for the first time, got to see lots of sea animals at the Gulfarium, ate a little seafood, and even spent some time shopping! Playing mini-golf at Big Kahuna's

He found a stuffed dog at another store and liked it so much he gave it a kiss.
After the kiss, he checked for a price tag to see if he had enough $ to buy the dog. Turns out he didn't!
